It started with the sub $300 Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 in March, and ended with the $100 BLU phone equipped with a full HD screen. With 2016 almost here, we're right in the thick of a race to the bottom, and the price drops are being driven primarily by Chinese companies. If 2016 is the going to be the year of anything, it'll be the year more western consumers will be handing over their hard-earned cash for something designed and made in China.
